The air quality within your home is extremely important and probably a lot worse than you may realize. According to the EPA, “Indoor air levels of many pollutants may be 2-5 times, and occasionally, more than 100 times higher than outdoor levels.” That’s definitely not the best news, especially for those of us who live in and around Atlanta.
Added pollution within your home comes from building materials used to construct your home, household cleaners, pesticides, mold, pollen and the list just goes on and on. These are factors that directly relate to your health. If you are within a space that has high air pollution, you are breathing in all of that daily. There’s only so much our bodies can do to get rid of these toxins. Issues can show up in many different forms, the most common being respiratory problems.
Due to these issues, we recommend changing your filter out regularly, having bi-yearly duct cleanings and having an air cleaner installed on your HVAC system.
